Il picturebook realizzato da Steven Guarnaccia per Corraini editore è un capolavoro dell’illustrazione per l’infanzia sia per i suoi connotati estetici e tecnici sia per l’idea di fondo dell’autore che interpreta il classico de “i tre porcellini” come una storia che attraverso i tre protagonisti, diventati finalmente tre architetti, percorre la storia dell’architettura e del design del Novecento. Questo libro si configura come un hub capace di collegare il lettore, attraverso la storia raccontata, ad un intreccio di altre storie illustrate.

The picture book created by Steven Guarnaccia for Corraini Editore is a masterpiece of children’s illustration, both for its aesthetic and technical traits and for the author’s underlying idea of interpreting the classic tale of “the Three Little Pigs” as a story in which the three characters, who have finally become three architects, follow the history of 20th century architecture and design. This book acts as a hub connecting the reader, through the story told, with a network of references to other illustrated stories.
