L’uso dell’arte contemporanea nella formazione degli insegnanti è un dispositivo motivante, e poiché la maggior parte degli studenti che si formano per diventare insegnanti è costituita da donne, conoscere le donne che fanno arte può essere un modo suggestivo per entrare in sintonia nel gioco di emozioni e interpretazioni. È ciò che è avvenuto in un laboratorio legato all’opera di Carmen Calvo, riflettendo sul tema delle paure di essere insegnante.

Training teachers through women's contemporary art

 

The use of contemporary art in teacher training is a motivating tool, and as the majority of students training to become teachers are women, learning about women in the arts can be an enthralling way of tuning into games of emotions and interpretations. This is what happened in a workshop linked to the works of Carmen Calvo, thinking about the issue of the fears of being a teacher.
